Why we start with teachers
Lasting change in schools happens through the people who work with children every day.

Teachers carry the hardest and most human part of education: reading a classroom, supporting a struggling learner, speaking with a worried parent, making judgment calls in the moment.
Most professional development asks teachers to listen. Far less of it asks them to practise. SPARK Studio exists to close that gap, with realistic situations where teachers decide, see how a choice unfolds, and reflect.
Technology supports teachers. It does not replace their judgment or their relationship with learners.
That is also why SPARK Compass, our proposed longer-term work, is teacher-led. The observations, the mentoring and the decisions belong to the adults who know each child.
A statement of SPARK's perspective. It does not report any outcomes.
